

We re-used the space the picker used to take in Widget settings to cover the highly requested taskbar settings based on Insider feedback to give you control over how the Widgets entry works on your taskbar. Now, the widget picker is opened by the “+” button and Widgets settings is opened by the “Me” button. In this update, we have separated the widget picker and Widgets settings to make it easier for you to find and interact with each view. As usual, this build also includes a set of fixes to improve the overall experience for Windows Insiders.We are beginning to roll out an update for Snipping Tool which now includes the ability to automatically save your screenshots.

This update does not include anything new and is designed to test our servicing pipeline for builds in the Dev Channel. Keep in mind that the new Microsoft Edge is available for Windows 7, 8, 10, macOS, Android, and iOS. If you want to get rid of a pinned site, right-click it and choose Unpin from taskbar from the menu. The site’s icon will appear on your taskbar for easier access. Then click the Options button (three dots), then head to More tools > Pin to taskbar.Ī prompt will come up where you can edit the site’s name and, when complete, click the Pin button. To do that, pull up the site you want to pin. You can also pin individual sites to the taskbar. But this part is optional, and you can close the wizard if you don’t want them. On the next screen, it will prompt you to pin popular Microsoft web apps. This will bring up suggested sites that you want to pin. Next, choose the websites you want to pin to the taskbar and click Continue. Then click the Options button (three dots) in the upper-right corner of the toolbar.įrom the menu, choose the More tools > Launch Taskbar pinning wizard option.
